This is it. We did it--raised $2,000. for pets-in-need at The Northland Pet Pantry. All with a simple creative idea: make a dog scarf and earn a $10 donation from Design Gives Back. And, today many of you are helping to raise even more--for the first time-- just by being here. Each comment left here before October 2nd earns an extra $1.00 for the Pet Pantry! You can help the cause simply by leaving a comment about the video--and you also will be qualified for the $100 Hobby Lobby Giveaway. Above is the world premiere video of this INSPIRING project that includes over 130 internet friends. Please feel free to embed it, e-mail it, pass it around. Inspire others to give back......and visit all the Pet Parade Party Participants today! NOTE: Not all dog scarf pics are on the video...see the three links at bottom of link column for the rest of pics. A few got bumped off the end of the video yesterday when we uploaded to You Tube--they will be added back next week.:) This has been daunting....and wonderful. i always say the best pets are from the shelter. We have a kitty that is now 12 years old. He had been rescued from the side of the road after being thrown out of a car. Got him at a shelter. marla

I love these pets and their stories..I keep finding myself coming back to read more about them...it takes so little to help care for and to feed them... thanks again for all who work tirelessly to keep this going....

Sooo many cuties! Both our furry children are adopted from shelters. We love them to pieces!

Wow! What a great cause! Lets all contribute to our "little guys" who are so dependent upon us! We love our own pets so lets help some of these pets who need families to help take care of them! It only takes a comment if you do nothing else to help care for nand feed these little pets! Thanks to all who are doing this!

This gives animals more of a chance at a fair life.
I wish I had more time but the cause will never be forgotten.
For me to be more active in animal support causes is what my Mom would have wanted and I will work to become better at helping when I can.

Great job, keep up the good work. I am also blessed to have 4 rescue pets of my own. They do make life worth living and are the best friends in the world to come home to after a long day at work.

Me and my rescued dog Cuervo really appreciate what you're doing. Keep up the good work and thank you for caring through actions.

The quiet conscience is the invention of the devil. Not one of us should permit any preventable pain to be inflicted...even though the responsibility for that pain is not ours. No one may shut his eyes and think that the pain which is therefore not visible, is non existent.
